Lumi hummed happily as she carried a small basket.
Inside were pastel eggs she had carefully decorated with magic.
“Today is going to be perfect,” she smiled.
Suddenly—
Boing!
One of the eggs jumped.
“…Eh?”
Then another egg rolled away.
Another hopped.
And another began to spin in circles, glowing softly.
“W-Wait! You’re not supposed to move!” Lumi laughed.
The magical eggs bounced across the meadow, leading Lumi on a cheerful chase.
They zigzagged between flowers, hid behind trees, and even floated briefly in the air.
As Lumi followed them, she noticed something strange.
The eggs weren’t trying to escape.
They were playing.
Lumi slowed down and knelt in the grass.
“Do you want to play together?” she asked gently.
The eggs wiggled… then happily hopped back toward her.
Laughing, Lumi gathered them into her basket.
